A major client challenge in African industries revealed widespread energy inefficiency. This inspired Quill to explore a smarter, energy-saving gearbox design — a concept that would later evolve into its world-patented technology.
2018

Over 3.5 years, Quill’s engineering team focused on designing, simulating, and prototyping a new-generation gearbox system that could achieve maximum torque output with minimal power loss.
2019–22
From Concept to Reality
After extensive testing across different setups — from two-wheeler prototypes to 200HP industrial systems — the innovation proved both scalable and revolutionary, confirming its global potential.

Protecting Our Innovation
To safeguard its proprietary design, Quill successfully registered patents in India and 28 other countries, ensuring global protection for its technology.
MID - 2022
First Commercial Breakthrough
Quill achieved a major milestone by receiving its first commercial order for its patented gearbox — validating its innovation and market readiness.
